My idea about essay --2nd!

I had already written my idea about essay, but I changed it. So, I will rewrite.

I was planned to focus on how Korean think about Japanese, but I was given some advices from my sectionmates (Thank you!) and noticed that some Japanese feel antipathy against Korean. I got interested in why they do so, and thought if I do not understand people I belong to, I will not be able to understand Korean or to think about the way to solve the problem that both Korean and Japanese feel bitter each other.

Therefore, I decided to write about how the relation between Korean and Japanese as a whole, and focus on how Japanese think about Korean and why. Then, I hope to consider how Japanese can really improve the relation. The reason why it is important is because it helps to prevent the diplomatic clach.

     I want to know...
1) the current situation related to Korean in Japan
2) the reaction by pro-Korean Japanese
3) why they like Korean?
4) the reaction by anti-Korean Japanese
5) why they hate Korean? Is it nationalism? or...
6) the generation of Japanese who like Korean
7) the generation of Japanese who hate Korean
8) the difference between Korean and Japanese

In addition, the English sources I found are...
1) Youth and nationalism in Japan (2006) / Sasada, Hironori
2) East Asian pop culture: consumer communities and politics of the national (2006) / Chua Beng Huat
3) Dilemmas of Korean--Japanese Interpersonal Relations (2006) / Soo im Lee
4) The potential of fandom and the limits of soft power: media representations on the popularity of a Korean melodrama in Japan (2007) / Kaori HAYASHIE
5) Ethnicity and culture in contemporary Japan (1996) / David L. Howell
6) Korean-Japanese solidarity and conflict (2004) / Michael Weiner

  1. Nice questions!

Why do some Japanese have hatred or dislike of Koreans?

and also...if you like, you can also analyze

How can Japanese feelings of discrimination against Koreans be changed?

    -media?
    -education?
    -interaction?
    -solving political or historical disagreements
